Nut and seed oils: hazelnut and walnut, rapeseed, sesame oil


Apart from the ubiquitous olive oil, there exist oils made from nuts and seeds that will introduce you to astonishing new flavours. Hazelnut oil has a very aromatic flavour and is excellent in raw vegetable salads.
Walnut oil also has a very aromatic flavour and is excellent in watercress salads or with boiled vegetables.
Argan oil, of Moroccan origin, is renowned for its health-giving properties due to the presence of omega 6 acids. It flavours Oriental cuisine dishes such as cous-cous and tajine.
Rapeseed oil is one of the most commonly used oils in Europe.
Sesame oil has a very strong flavour and accompanies Asiatic cuisine marvel-lously.
