Producer: Le Chatelard, produce of France.

This herb, better known as thyme but also called farigoule in France, brings a touch of the Garrigue to grilled or braised meats, fish, casseroles or even sauces and coulis. Thyme is commonly used in Provençal cooking. Together with bay leaf and parsley it makes up the bouquet garni that seasons many of the Provençal terroir dishes.
Thyme is rich in essential oils and contains thymol, a disinfectant.
