The little terroir of the Méjanelle, near to Montpellier and the coast, is distinguished by its round-pebbled soils that give full-bodied, flamboyant wines. Copa Santa red wine from the Coteaux du Languedoc is dominated by the Syrah grape variety and offers a Mediterranean tone with an attack that is both supple and strong. It is warm and concentrated with notes of black fruit and prunes, liquorice and spices that blend together to form a harmonious and intense wine, but not without finesse. Syrah is the dominant grape variety with a touch of Grenache and Mouvèdre.
