Rapeseed oil has an exquisite aroma and a forceful flavour that will enhance all sorts of salads, such as potato or beet salads, and is used to make la cervelle de canuts (a mix of fromages blancs, fine herbs, salt and pepper). This oil should not be heated. Rapeseed oil is rich in omega 3 acids that cannot be synthesised by the body itself. This oil is the best-selling oil in Europe.
